Vacation Bible School

Splash Kingdom was the theme for Vacation Bible School in the summer of 2002, taking place from 6:00 until 8:30 in the evenings the final week in June. Activities included Bible study, crafts, music, skits, a competitive offering to support Starfish Ministries (providing for orphan children in Africa), snacks, and recreation.

Recreation is guaranteed to be wet this year in keeping with the water park theme. We build our own water slide for the occasion on the hill behind the church. Follow the links to see more pictures.

Penny Thomas registers new students.

Director Sandy Toogood talks with Barb Vanderpool, who distributed prizes. Barb first visited us while in town for the Mayo Clinic. She returned from Michigan to help with Vacation Bible School. Please pray for Barb as she faces a battle with leukemia.
